Interview with Estado de S. Paulo

The newspaper Estado de S. Paulo published an article about research led by Dr. Ubirajara Barroso Jr. that validates a new questionnaire for assessing constipation in children. The study validated the Cleveland Constipation Score (CCS), used in adults, for pediatric use.

The idea is to validate the method in English so that it can be used worldwide. "This initiative not only contributes to the reach of the tool, but also contributes to its global acceptance, representing a significant advance in the diagnostic approach to constipation in children," Barroso told the newspaper.
